What is Community Acupuncture?
Community Acupuncture is a multi-bed Acupuncture Clinic. Treatments are provided in a shared environment.
How does Community Acupuncture Work?
There are no set appointment times. You can arrive any time during opening hours. There is generally no waiting time.
New patients will need to fill out a clinic form providing the details for your visit. If the practitioner needs more time with you to asses your condition he will request a private consultation. This may be necessary to get a better understanding of your complaint especially if it is a long standing chronic condition.
What clothing is best to wear?
The Acupuncturist will mainly use points below the knees and below the elbows. Sometimes it is necessary to use abdominal points or back points depending on your condition. Loose fitting clothing is best allowing easy access to the legs and forearms. If you are unsure what to wear please discuss this with the Acupuncturist prior to your visit.
Community Acupuncture $25
Private Consultations (by appointment) $65
